Here are some of the wonderful things clients are saying about Beyond Buck Dog Training!
"My husband and I hired Kailey from Beyond Buck dog training for help with our 4 year old French Bulldog, Lulu. We already knew and trusted Kailey as she had been Lulu’s regular dog walker for several years. So, when I found out she had begun training, we jumped at the chance to have her work with us. Lulu struggled with behavioral issues, the most troublesome being her aggression toward other dogs. Food, toys, sticks, or sometimes just a look from another dog would send her into a fit. By the time we called on Kailey, I was uncomfortable even taking her to the park.
When we first got her as a puppy, she went through obedience training where they utilized a prong collar technique. We hated using it (and so did Lulu), but her issues got so bad it was literally the only way we felt we could control her outside the house. Day 1, Kailey taught us the power of positive reinforcement, through use of a clicker and treats, and Lulu responded immediately! Over the course of 6 sessions, where Kailey came to our home, we worked through the basics (sit, stay, come, etc.) all the way up to her aggression at the park as well as some bad behaviors she had picked up indoors. After each session, we promptly received an email from Kailey with a recap and our “homework” for the next session. We learned a lot along the way about dog psychology, how to pick up on body language clues from Lulu, as well as other dogs, and other tips/tricks to keep her mind occupied and focused on good behaviors.
Lulu isn’t perfect, but she has improved immensely in so many ways and I no longer have anxiety walking her and taking her to the park. Kailey definitely set us on the right path - we threw our prong collar away and aren’t looking back! She is obviously very knowledgeable in the field, passionate about what she does, and really easy/fun to work with (and patient if you have a million questions, like us!). I would highly recommend Beyond Buck Training, and Kailey to anyone!"

"My husky and I had a wonderful experience with Kailey during our training sessions. Kailey is not only extremely professional and always punctual, but she gives positive encouragement and sound advice during each session. She provided me with a book and handouts to read and brought over a bunch of toys from her "bag of tricks" to demonstrate a variety of types that might be helpful for us. She responded to each of my questions with honest and experienced answers. But the most telling sign of Kailey's expertise as a dog trainer is how much my dog Reese loves her! If only she would listen to me as well as she listens to Kailey...ha! Now it's up to me. Thanks so much Kailey!"

"When my fiancé and I moved we noticed our 3 year old Old English Bulldog Frank was having a difficult time adjusting to his new surroundings. Frank was never properly socialized with dogs when he was younger, so this along with the move caused him to be frequently nervous, territorial and confrontational. Frank would constantly pull on his leash, bark at other dogs and even people on our walks. Frank required someone of expertise to help him through these issues. As soon as we met Kailey, we knew her encouraging approach (positive reinforcement, no more prong collar etc.) was exactly what our dog needed. Kailey provided feedback and homework which allowed us to continue training at home. Frank has dramatically improved in just a short period of time. His demeanor is much more relaxed and playful. He no longer pulls as much on his leash during walks and can pass by people and other dogs with ease. He was even afraid to step on grates on the road and now he can walk on them without fear. I highly recommend Kailey’s services to any dog owner. Her incredible patience and positive reinforcement are truly effective training methods."

"Kailey has been a great trainer and supporter in getting my KRAZY mini-schnauzer puppy under control and on the road to Good citizenship!
She was very patient with my pup and extremely encouraging and supportive for me - which is just as important, if not more important for getting your pup trained and socialized. She trained me as much as my dog :). She always followed up with helpful tips, tricks and articles that timely supports the exercises and practiced behaviors used during her visits. She helped me turn my wild and crazy puppy, who couldn't sit still for more than 5 seconds, into a great student who is ready to take their Good Citizenship Certificate test. Well, he still is crazy, but not so wild ;). She brings her own toys, tools and treats, too! She is truly passionate about helping you and your dog. I highly recommend Kailey as a trainer and teacher of pups and their owners."

"Kailey did an amazing job training my dog Toby. Toby, my 2 year old husky had many issues with several things that I didn't have the patience to work on, but Kailey came along and Toby is now so loving and obedient. Kailey definitely made the experience worth while and I'd recommend her service in a heart beat."

" I would highly recommend Kailey Cullin as both a dog walker and dog trainer. She has been walking my high spirited, fun loving 5 year old golden retriever Winnie since I adopted her in 2010. Winnie loves Kailey and especially loves visiting/boarding with she and her dog Buck when I am away whether it is over night or for an extended period of time, such as a vacation. Kailey takes cares of Winnie as if she belonged to her – which makes me feel really comfortable and glad that Winnie enjoys being with her so much.
Kailey has also trained Winnie to be less aggressive with other dogs. Although, I think most times she just wants to play, I am never 100% sure that what her barking & lunging mean. Kailey and I spent 3-4 1-hour sessions with Winnie working on cues and ways to distract her from some approaching dogs, with small treats, voice cues and leash handling. Those sessions really helped to improve Winnie’s behavior and I was amazed how quickly she understood what we were trying to do. I think Kailey is a great trainer."

"Kailey has recently helped us with training for our now almost 8 month old yellow lab male.We got Rory when he was 6 months old and both my husband and I had forgotten how much of a handful a dog of this age can be! Kailey has been a terrific resource to help us with Rory's training. We have had a number of one on one sessions where she helps both me an Rory in a fun and relaxed way. I really appreciate her wealth of knowledge but also her kind and calm demeanor. I would highly recommend her services."

"Beyond Buck Dog Training has provided both training and boarding for our Alaskan Klee Kai. Kailey is thoughtful and creative when devising her lesson plan for the training session. Our dog was having difficulty being around children and Kailey provided me with the skills to better train and handle my dog’s anxiety using behavior adjustment training. Our dog is doing much better around kids and I have Kailey to thank for that! Kailey provided us with handouts and internet readings to work on in between sessions and was incredibly flexible with scheduling the training sessions. It is clear that Kailey has a love for animals and is very knowledgeable when working with owners and their dogs. We have also boarded our dog multiple times with Beyond Buck Dog Training and he has a fabulous time during each stay playing with his pal Buck! I highly recommend Beyond Buck Dog Training for both their training and boarding and feel very lucky to have found Kailey to assist with the care of our dog!"

"To sum it up Kailey is reliable, responsible, and awesome! Kailey has been walking our dog since we he was 2 months old. She is helpful to offer training tips and advice. We have also used Kailey for overnight/weekend stays and always feel relieved knowing our dog is in such great hands. Kailey emails us after each walk and gives us updates throughout a weekend stay. We are so glad we have found Kailey and so is our pup!"

"My dog is a rescue who has developed some bad habits - eating things off the ground and barking a lot at other dogs when he's walking on leash. I wasn't sure if he was too old or set in his ways to be trained. Kailey showed me he wasn't! She has a very calm and welcoming demeanor that puts both your pooch and you at ease. She spend time observing Finn's behavior by walking with us, and she showed me some very simple techniques to improve his behavior. I was amazed by how quickly he responded and learned. I really appreciated Kailey's follow up after each training - she sends a reminder of what you covered and some "homework." Finn's behavior has markedly improved and he responded very well to her positive reinforcement approach to training. I would (and have) highly recommend her to dog owners looking for training assistance."

"I have a female mini Australian Shepard who is now 6 months old and Kailey has been walking her, training her and taking her on overnight boarding since she's been 12 weeks old. Kailey is a great patient trainer, who challenges dogs with puzzles, games , basic cues and exercise that work very well. Dakota loves going to her house for visits and playing with Buck her husky, and I have a nice easy feeling that my dog is with someone who cares for her as her own. She's is a very well trained young dog due to Kailey's help."
